Maarlie Wada moved to the U.S. from Japan in 2001 and brought her eye for style along with her. She always received compliments and questions from her friends, who asked where she got her socks from. 

The idea to bring Japanese fashion to America didn’t cross Maarlie's mind until she toured an LA fashion magazine company in 2006 — and that was when Tabbisocks came to life

    




Tabbisocks weaves Japanese craftsmanship from the East with big personality from the West. Each sock is made with love in Nara, a city steeped in tradition and “advanced sock culture.”
